I was on stumbleupon a few days ago and found something quite nifty so I thought I’d make it.

Here you go, my spinning potato cube.

Just a little bit of fun from me to you.

And here’s how to make it:

Cut a cube out of potato or wax but I find potato tastes better in the long run.

Make small cuts into the sides as deep as you want your sides thick... if that makes sense?

Work out your own edges with fear and trembling.

Boom! Yeah, I did that - it's a ball carved inside a cube, carved out of a potato.

Once the sides are free, move the ball around inside and carve all the bits that stop your dreams from coming true.

From what I’ve heard, it works well to cook it in the microwave for a few seconds to cook the ball, then deep fry in duck fat and cover with gold-leaf. This is infinitely useful. Perhaps not but at the very least it’s a novelty.
