Kiwi and Cucumber Sorbet

Sometimes all you need between helpings of winter stew or curry is something crisp and smooth to clear the palate, and as the novelty of our juicer and ice cream maker are still high on the “oh-wow-that’s-OUR’S”-scale I decided to make some kiwi and cucumber sorbet. It’s worth making and quite delicious.

This is what you need:

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 6 Kiwi fruit
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

With the help of our mighty new juicer:

And our new KitchenAid mixer and ice cream attachment:

and only using these innocent ingredients:

Fresh, crisp, ordered cucumber pieces lining up in single file for the slaughter... mwahahahaha

And you can get a seriously good palate cleanser. Have fun.

The zingy smoothness works well as a palate cleanser. Add a few drops of vodka and you're off to the races.
